Dear Viewer,
The Indian Standard IS 6100:1984 says that Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Anhydrous, Technical is a very important chemical product that is used in many industrial settings. You can find it a lot as a builder in detergents, where it helps soften water and spread out dirt, making the soap mixture more effective at cleaning. This substance is also useful in ceramics, cloth processes, metals, and water treatment because it can absorb, spread, and buffer substances.
The 5th of March 2024 in New Delhi: The Central Government has made changes to the Sodium Tripolyphosphate (Quality Control) Order, 2020 in line with section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016). This order was first made public by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals. The change will take effect on March 13, 2025, and will replace sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 1 of the order in question.
The goal of this change is to make sure that quality standards and rules about the production, sale, and use of Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Anhydrous, Technical, as outlined in IS 6100:1984, are still followed. It shows that regulators are serious about upholding safety and quality standards for chemicals, which protects consumers and makes the business run more efficiently.
