BIS Quality Control Amendment Order For Acrylonitrile, IS 12540:1988

In India, the Acrylonitrile (Quality Control) Order, 2022 set rules for how acrylonitrile could be made, sold, and used! This order's goal was to lower the risks of being exposed to this chemical substance while keeping the purity of the product by closely watching and following the rules.

A new order that goes into force on October 24, 2024, makes changes to current quality control measures. This shows that the government is taking the initiative to improve them. Substituting the start date listed in paragraph 1(2) of the original order makes the execution process more simplified and effective. Even though industry landscapes are changing, this change shows that people are still committed to making things better to protect public health and the environment.
