Dear Viewer,
The chemical compound beta picoline is in the same family as pyridine variants. Many medicines, agrochemicals, and other organic molecules start out as this chemical. Its chemical formula is C6H7N, and because nitrogen is in its ring structure, it is a heterocyclic aromatic product.
The Quality Control Order (QCO) for Beta Picoline, which is based on IS 16112:2013, sets the quality guidelines for making and selling Beta Picoline in India. The Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 gives the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, the power to run this QCO.
The QCO lists the conditions and rules that Beta Picoline must meet to make sure that it is safe, pure, and of good quality for different uses. You might find factors like purity level, moisture content, acidity or alkalinity, heavy metal content, and other qualities that are important for the uses you want to give it.
The latest change from March 5, 2024, says that the QCO will go into force on March 13, 2025. This means that by the due date, all companies that make, sell, or distribute Beta Picoline must follow the updated quality standards set out in the QCO.
To make sure that the quality standards stay up-to-date and in line with best practices around the world, the QCO's amendment process usually includes a thorough study and discussion of things like new technologies, feedback from the industry, and international standards.
