As per IS 17526:2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has put out a new Quality Control Order (QCO) for Domestic Stainless Steel Vacuum Flask/Bottle. This order says that starting March 5, 2024, things must follow Indian norms and have Standard Marks on them. Small enterprises have a grace period of six months, while micro-enterprises have nine months. Under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, there may be fines for not following the rules. This order replaces older rules and assures safety and quality standards for products until it runs out.
