Dear Viewer,
According to IS 1989 (Part 1): 1986, the Leather Safety Boots and Shoes for Miners protect miners well in dangerous places. These boots are made to strict Indian standards and offer the sturdiness, stability, and comfort that are needed for long periods of time spent underground. With their reinforced construction and strict obedience to safety standards, these boots protect workers from numerous hazards at work, making them safer and more productive.
As required by IS 1989 (Part 1): 1986, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has put out a Quality Control Amendment Order for Leather Safety Boots and Shoes for Miners. In order to make sure that these shoes meet strict Indian Standards for quality and safety starting August 1, 2024, this Order requires them to have the Standard Mark on them. Aiming to improve miner safety by applying strict quality control measures, BIS is the approving and regulating authority. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are exempt, and companies with uncertified stock can sell it until June 30, 2025, as long as they tell BIS about it.
