The Leather Safety Footwear with Direct Moulded Rubber Sole that meets the requirements of IS 11226:1993 gives workers in dangerous places excellent protection. Under the Quality Control Order (QCO), the Bureau of Indian Standards says that safety shoes made of leather and direct-molded rubber must follow IS 11226:1993. From August 1, 2024, all of these shoes will have to have the Standard Mark on them. There are some exceptions for exports and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. When declared, manufacturers who already have uncertified stock can sell until June 30, 2025. According to higher safety standards for the workplace, BIS is in charge of confirming and maintaining compliance.
