BIS Quality Control Amendment Order For Safety Rubber Canvas Boots for Miners, IS 3976: 2018

The Safety Rubber Canvas Boots for Miners, which meet the requirements of IS 3976:2018, are made to protect and comfort miners working in dangerous places. The Bureau of Indian Standards has strict quality standards for goods, and these boots meet them. They have strong rubber soles and long-lasting cloth uppers. They make sure reliable performance and reduce the risks of mining operations by using reinforced building and following safety standards.

As per IS 3976:2018, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has made changes to the Quality Control Order (QCO) for Safety Rubber Canvas Boots for Miners. As of August 1, 2024, these boots must meet certain Indian Standards and have the Standard Mark under a BIS license. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are excused, and until June 30, 2025, stocks that haven't been certified by the BIS can still be sold. BIS is in charge of certifying and maintaining compliance to improve the quality and safety of mining activities.
