However, there are exemptions for goods or articles manufactured domestically with the intention of export.

Additionally, there are specific timelines for the implementation of this order concerning small and micro enterprises. For small enterprises, as defined in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006), the BIS QCO for the cast iron products (malleable cast iron pipe fittings) order comes into force nine months after the publication date. For micro-enterprises, it becomes applicable twelve months after the publication date.
