The Ministry of Mines in New Delhi, on May 03, 2024, has decided to make changes to the rules about controlling the quality of Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys. This change is called the "Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023." It will start working from the day it gets officially published. The government believes this is necessary for the public's benefit, and they consulted with the Bureau of Indian Standards before making this decision. The specific date when these changes will take effect is December1, 2024. This decision is based on the authority given by the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.
