BIS QCO FOR THE ETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMERS

New Delhi, on the 26th of September 2023, the Central Government, using its powers under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, has decided to make changes to the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (EVA) (Quality Control) Order of 2022. This step is taken after discussions with the Bureau of Indian Standards, considering the needs of the public.

The amended order will be known as the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023.

It will be effective from the date it is officially published in the Gazette, ensuring that everyone is aware of the changes.

Specifically, in the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Order of 2022, named as BIS QCO for the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers, the alteration states that the new rules will begin on the 3rd day of April 2024.

As per the BIS QCO for the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers, this decision is part of the government's efforts to maintain the quality and standards of products related to Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers, acknowledging the importance of public welfare and adherence to established norms.
