Guidelines for parallel testing of products
1. This has reference to Registration Guidelines RG:01 of even no dated 19 December 2022.
2. The guidelines for parallel testing of product was implemented with effect from 01 January 2023 with Mobile Phone as a pilot project upto 30 June 2023.
3. Since adequate number of applications and inclusions were not received during the period under parallel testing it has been decided to extend the pilot project beyond 30 June 2023 for a further period of six months upto 31 December 2023.
4. It has also been decided to add two more product categories under the pilot scheme namely, (a) Wireless headphone and earphone (b) Laptop/ Notebook/ Tablet.
5. All other conditions as stated in Registration Guidelines RG:01 of even no dated 19 December 2022 remain the same.
