6.     Test reports are only valid for 3 months. You need to submit them to BIS before they expire. If you can't, you'll have to test new samples.

7.     Make sure all documents are ready before testing the samples.

8.     After you submit all the documents, BIS usually takes about 15 days to approve the registration. But sometimes, it might take 30 to 60 days, which is a more realistic expectation.
