BIS CERTIFICATION FOR POULTRY FEEDS IS 1374:2007

Product Description

BIS CERTIFICATION FOR POULTRY FEEDS IS 1374:2007

Introduction

Poultry feeds are special foods for birds like chickens, ducks, and turkeys that people raise for meat and eggs. These feeds are like balanced meals that give the birds all the right nutrients they need to grow well and stay healthy. These feeds are carefully made to give birds the right mix of proteins, carbs, fats, vitamins, and minerals they need at different stages of their life. There are different types of feeds for baby chicks, teenage birds, egg-laying hens, and meat chickens. Even turkeys have their special feed. These feeds are usually made from grains like corn and soybeans, and they add vitamins and minerals to make them even better. Some feeds have extra things like antibiotics or probiotics to keep the birds healthy and growing.

Poultry feeds have rules called IS 1374:2007. These rules tell us how chicken feeds should be made. These rules say what chicken feeds should be like, how to take samples for testing, and how to test them. Chicken feeds must follow these rules to make sure they are good and safe for chickens to eat.
