Product Description

BIS CERTIFICATION FOR SELF CLOSING TAPS IS 1711:1984

INTRODUCTION

Self-closing taps or push button taps are plumbing fixtures crafted with the purpose of automatically stopping the flow of water after a brief period of activation. They find common application in public restrooms, educational institutions, commercial kitchens, and various other environments, serving as an effective means to promote water conservation and minimize wastage.

To ensure the product quality of Self-closing taps, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has made it mandatory for manufacturers to undergo BIS registration and obtain the BIS ISI mark before selling it in the market.
