BIS CERTIFICATION FOR STEEL WIRE FOR STAPLES, PINS & CLIPS

Product Description

BIS CERTIFICATION FOR STEEL WIRE FOR STAPLES, PINS & CLIPS IS 4224: 1972

INTRODUCTION

Steel wire is frequently employed in producing staples, pins, and clips because of its adaptability. It is valued for its diverse characteristics, which encompass strength, flexibility, and the ability to withstand wear and damage.

To ensure the product quality of steel wire for staples, pins & clips, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has made it mandatory for manufacturers to undergo BIS registration and obtain the BIS ISI mark before selling it in the market. Manufacturers can use the ISI Mark on their products only after obtaining a license from BIS that is granted after BIS registration. The presence of the ISI mark on a product indicates that it complies with BIS's stringent quality standards

Steel wires for staples, pins, and clips come under IS 4224:1972. This standard specifies the requirements for three types of steel wire used for staples, pins, and clips. The general requirements for material supply must be in accordance with 1387:1967.
