The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently gave a special certification to "Equipment for making strong rice" following the rules in IS 17854: 2022. BIS now says that if you make machines to make strong rice, you must have BIS certification. IS 17854: 2022 tell us the requirements of blending units and its types used for the manufacture of fortified rice. The company that makes these units must be sure their products are just like what IS 17854 says to get a BIS certification for them.
